Hyatt Assistant Manager - Housing in AL KHOBAR, Saudi Arabia

Description:

Main Duties:

Work Visa:

  • To apply for work visa before the arrival of the newemployee, to allow entry into KSA

  • To apply for residency visa once new employee hasstarted at work.

  • To arrange for medical check-up and health-cardapplication. finger print

  • Visa submission via Internet.

Visit Visa:

  • To apply for visit visa for direct family members ofhotel employees (subject to approval by the Director of Human Resources).

  • To trace visit visa expiry to avoid “overstays”.

  • Visa submission via Internet.

Employment Termination:

  • To cancel visas and all related documentation.

  • To arrange release of visas for eventual transfer.

  • To cancel visas without ban for eventual re-employmentin the Qatar.

Arabic typing:

  • To type all necessary legal applications in Arabic.

  • To assist employees in typing any Arabic documentswhere needed.

  • To assist operation in typing / translating certaindocuments into Arabic.

Filing:

  • To keep joint file with Payroll, ensuring that allnecessary documents for Immigration purposes are in the file (originalcontract, copy of residence permit, passport copy, photographs,immigration related documents, etc.).

Database management:

  • To ensure that employee details on passport expiry,labor card expiry, visa expiry, etc. are kept up to date on Oasyssoftware.

General:

  1. Tounderstand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established inthe Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, Health andSafety.

  2. Toreport for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at alltimes.

  3. Tomaintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.

  4. Tomaintain a good rapport and working relationship with staff in the departmentcolleagues and all other departments.

  5. Toattend and contribute to all staff meetings Departmental and Hotel trainingsscheduled and other related activities.

  6. Tofully support the Departmental Training Function in the Department assigned.

  7. Toundertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by Director ofHuman Resources.

  8. Torespond to any changes in Communications function as dictated by the market andthe hotel.

  9. Toproject at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise self-control.

  10. Tohave a complete understanding of the Human Resources section in the OperationsManual and Policies & Procedures.

  11. Toprovide a courteous and professional service at all times.

  12. Toattend all meetings as required by the Director of Human Resources.Employee Handling:

  13. Toassist with recruitment, select employees who are able to work within thedecentralized Management Philosophy, following Financial, Operational andAdministrative Philosophies outlined above and who understand and supportHyatt’s Philosophy of Multi Skilling and Multi Tasking.

  14. Toassist in the building of an efficient team of employees through MultiSkilling, Multi Tasking and flexible scheduling and by taking an activeinterest in their welfare, safety and development.

  15. Toprepare weekly work schedules in accordance with workload and priorities forthe approval by the Director of Human Resources.

  16. Toconduct yearly performance appraisal and give employees regular feedback ontheir job performance.

  17. Toensure that all employees report for duty punctually wearing the correctuniform and name badge at all times.

  18. Toensure that all employees provide a courteous and professional service at alltimes.

  19. Toensure that all employees have a complete understanding of and adhere to theHotel's Employee Rules & Regulations and adhere to the hotel's policyrelating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.

  20. Tocarry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  21. Toproject at all times a positive and motivated attitude and exercise selfcontrol.

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Manager - or Team Leader - Housekeeping. · Good communication and customer relations skills.
