Hyatt Director of Operations in AMMAN, Jordan
You will report directly to the General Manager on all day-to-day operational matters. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Rooms and Food & Beverage Operations of the hotel, aligned to deliver the Grand Hyatt brand experiences and standards. While meeting the unique and individual guest expectations and creating an environment that delivers exceptional colleague experiences. You will function as Business Manager for all the Food & Beverage outlets, as well as Rooms Division, in specific Front Office, Concierge, Guest Services, Fitness Center, Housekeeping and Engineering. Your role is to ensure that all operations operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable. In the absence of the General Manager you will take responsibility for the operation of the hotel.
We are looking for a candidate who has 2-3 years’ experience in the same role with Rooms background. Ideally you can complement your skills with past experience in F&B. As one of the key leaders in the hotel, the Director of Operations needs to balance business acumen, with people management and technical skills in all areas of the operation. We expect the candidate to bring strong leadership skills, paired with the ability to empathetically communicate with all guests and colleagues in the hotel. Good organization and communication skills, the ability to inspire and support innovation as well as a passion for caring service should be your strength. Fluent proficiency in English is a must.
