Hyatt Director of Operations in AVON, Colorado
This position reports directly to the General Manager on all day-to-day operational matters. You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the Rooms and Food & Beverage Operations of the hotel, aligned to deliver the Park Hyatt brand experiences and standards. While meeting the unique and individual guest expectations and creating an environment that delivers exceptional colleague experiences. You will function as Business Manager for all the Food & Beverage outlets, as well as Rooms Division, in specific Front Office, Concierge, Guest Services, Fitness Center, Housekeeping. Your role is to ensure that all operations operate successfully, in accordance with the standard of the hotel and are individually profitable. In the absence of the General Manager you will take responsibility for the operation of the hotel.
Duties may also include training, staff development and scheduling.
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Rooms and/or Director of F&B in hotel operations.
Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
Ability to analyze data and trends and create strategies for improvement
Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and to multi-task.
Ability to lead and motivate associates to achieve goals
