Hyatt Lead Host - Purchasing in CHENGDU, China


  1. Assists Finance Manager with the development and maintenance of a detailed Department Operations Manual that reflects policies and procedures, work processes and standards of performance within the Division.

  2. Ensures that all hotel, company and local rules, policies and regulations relating to financial record keeping, money handling and licensing are adhered to, including the timely and accurate reporting of financial information.

  3. Ensures all contractors/ suppliers/ vendors possess legal trading license prior to making any purchase order.

  4. Responsible for the accurate, timely process of all Purchase Requests submitted by various departments.

  5. Ensures proper documentation of all Purchase Requests.

  6. Sources for vendors with creditability to provide goods for the Hotel.

  7. Ensures monthly inventory counts and reconciliation is being carried out according to the Hotel’s policy.

  8. Sources for samples as per the specifications provided by the departments concerned prior to making recommendation to the Finance Manager in choosing a suitable supplier.


  1. College and above education degree, at least 3years working experience in purchasing.

  2. Good communication skill both in Mandarin and English, and computer skill.

  3. Proficient in purchasing procedures and hotel internal control procedures.

  4. Have stress tolerance, Work with high enthusiasm.
