Hyatt Director - Loyalty and Brands, Americas and Franchise in CHICAGO, Illinois


The Director, Loyalty and Brands, Americas and Franchise will be responsible for driving loyalty and brand business goals for all Americas and global Franchise hotels – representing both World of Hyatt and our portfolio of brands. Working with senior stakeholders across the enterprise, the Director will identify and act upon opportunities that drive brand contribution including: advocate program enrollments, drive brand preference and penetration strategies, and liaise with the program on Americas and Franchise hotel needs.

This position reports to the Vice President, Guest Experience, Strategy and Innovation.

Serve as liaison and resource for Americas region (CS, Ops, etc.) and Franchise leadership – driving loyalty and brand performance for owners, operators and other key stakeholders. Portfolio represents 736 hotels – currently over 73% of hotels.

Represent Americas Commercial Services and Franchise with Loyalty leadership and teams – partnering across Loyalty Operations/Analytics, Marketing and Partnerships - surfacing and resolving regional needs.

Responsible for driving Americas’ Enrollment Success Rate goals – championing the value of joining the program, simplistic tools and RVP engagement (708 hotels).

Oversee Franchise loyalty support – providing guidance and connection point to broader loyalty strategy.

Build the data story to reinforce program engagement by partnering with Loyalty Analytics and Consumer Insights – analyze data (HySat, Enrollments, etc.) to measure behaviors to achieve goals, slicing data for appropriate audience

Responsible for communicating new programs and updates to the field and ensuring that it is updated in all communication channels.

Engages, inspires and galvanizes the Americas and Franchise organizations around loyalty program and brand value through data-driven learnings and sharing best practices.

Actively collaborate with other Americas Commercial Services and Franchise leaders to address hotel, market and regional needs to drive direct metrics.

Must be a dynamic leader with a proven track record of evaluating, identifying and executing against strategic opportunities

Strong leadership, problem-solving and collaboration skills

Strong quantitative and analytical background with attention to detail

Proven ability to lead within a matrixed organization

Superior written and oral presentation skills

A minimum of ten (10) years relevant professional experience, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in loyalty hospitality or travel sector leadership role

Preferred: Previous multiple hotel/brand experience a plus

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time


Minimum: BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA a plus
