Hyatt Engineer Tech 1 - Starting at $16.00 per hour DOE in CLE ELUM, Washington
A Tech 1 Engineer should have a basic working knowledge of all mechanical systems. Including minor Hvac, Electrical, Plumbing and a good understanding of general maintenance related to basic repair needs, IE: painting and patching of walls, caulking and misc. (Both residential and commercial) They will also need to understand basic appliance upkeep and repair as well as systems related to internet and TVs. They must have a working knowledge of basic computer and smart phone devices. He or she will demonstrate the ability to work with a team or by themselves when needed. He orshe will also demonstrate the willingness to increase their knowledge base via instruction and/or hands on experience. The employee will also need good verbal communication skills for both their team and other teams. They will always be respectful with both fellow employees and guests. All Tech 1 engineers can progress in the company as they show a larger skillset and are encouraged to do so.
Must have a basic working knowledge of building systems.
Must have a basic working knowledge of drywall repair and painting.
Any licenses or permits required by law for specific job functions, including possessing a good driving record.
Must understand the usage of hand tools and some power tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with the public and other associates.
Interpersonal skills necessary to provide the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Hospitality experience preferred.
Proven ability to take charge and work with minimum supervision. Enjoys challenges and situations where solutions are not obvious.
Ability to make correct decisions in a high stress environment;
ability to multitask various problems or assignments.
