The Event Coordinator is responsible for selling & servicing small events in conjunction with administrative duties determined by the Event Managers. Primary service efforts are in Event Food, Beverage and Setup and requires thorough communication with both internal and external clients. Duties also include, but are not limited to, contract review, facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff, answering the department phones and assisting callers. Also, assist in hosting site inspections as needed, participate and/or lead event meetings and other staff meetings. Occasional overtime or evenings/weekends might be required.

Previous hotel and Event Planning administrative experience preferred
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills.
Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
Prefer a four year hospitality degree or equivalent experience
