Grand Met Restaurant located at the Grand Hyatt DFW hotel in Terminal D at DFW Airport is recruiting for an Experienced AM Line Cook to support our breakfast and lunch service offerings.Grand Met offers a sophisticated ambiance and innovative global cuisine. Flavors from around the world are seasonally inspired and artfully prepared in our modern show kitchen. This is a full-time position and benefits include:

The Experienced Line Cook requires good communication and culinary skills working in a fast-paced restaurant line, working muliple stations at one time and has cooking experience working breakfast and lunch service; culinary degree is recommended. Should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures, the ability to execute food service that is flawless in presentation, creative and following the recipes and specifications as outlined by our menus.

Qualifications:

  • Refined verbal communication skills.

  • A minimum of 2 years of previous line breakfast experience preferred.

  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

  • Candidate should be able to perform all intermediate cooking skills.

  • Able to work single station as well as multiple stations in the kitchen.

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
