The PM line cook will be an integral player in the culinary experience of the hotel. The PM cook will be required to learn all menu items for Vaga as well as assist in the preparation of food for the Pocket and the Coffee Box. The PM line cook will work single stations in the kitchen and require minimal supervision and training.
3 to 5 years of high volume, luxury environment experience preferred.
Culinary degree and/or related hotel experience is preferred.
Solid verbal communication skills.
Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.
Should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures.
Able to work single station in the kitchen.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative to get the job done.
Committed to produce quality work.
