Hyatt Pasty Chef in GUANGZHOU, China


  • Assists with the preparation and regular update of the Food & Beverage Departmental Budget, in close cooperation with the Executive Chef, ensuring targets are met and costs are effectively controlled.

  • Assists with the input and oversight of product specifications, recipes and other data as required, supporting the smooth operation of Materials Management and Cost Audit functions.

  • Continuously seeks ways to assist the Outlet management to maximise their revenues and profits through Pastry and Bakery products.

  • Prepares and supervises daily mise en place and assures that all sections are supplied with fresh and high quality products based on anticipated business levels and etc.


  • Minimum 2 years experience as Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef in a hotel or restaurant of good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.

  • Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.

  • Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred.
