An Event Services lead is responsible for the execution and end result of a banquet meal function. This role leads other colleagues by coaching, giving direction and may include training and scheduling. They are the onsite point of contact for the meeting planner/client for their meal functions and responsible for making the function space visually appealing and presenting the menu offering for the event. Other duties include general banquet preparation including linen and table setting, food station design, beverage service, cashiering room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.

Qualifications:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

  • Customer Service oriented

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Good organizational skills

  • Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.

  • Teamplayer

  • Experience and a thorough understanding of banquet service.

  • Bi-lingual in English/Spanish preferred.
