Hyatt Event Sales Coordinator in INDIAN WELLS, California

The Event Sales Coordinator works directly with the Events Sales Manager and assists with the planning and execution of all social events. The Coordinator should have experience with planning and servicing weddings, holiday parties, birthday parties and Bar / Bat Mitzvah's. The Event Coordinator also works directly with the Banquet and Audio Visual teams, conveys all details of the client's needs to these departments, and reports to the Director of Sales and Marketing. In some instances the Event Coordinator may also be required to solicit and secure future event business. The position does require some work to be conducted on evenings and weekends.
Primary service efforts are in Banquet Food, Beverage and Setup that include menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services, hospitality amenities and special VIP requests. Duties also include but are not limited to contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. Also, assist in hosting site inspections as needed, participate and/or lead event meetings and other staff meetings.
