The Commis Chef is responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt's corporate strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or completed three years’ chef apprenticeship.

  • Two years’ work experience in a related field is preferred.

  • Candidates with good practical and operational skills, and a flair for creativity, will be given preference.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices, occupational health and food safety standards.

  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
