Hyatt PT Overnight Engineering & Security Officer in KEY WEST, Florida

The Overnight Engineering & Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. This person will follow safety and security standards, complete incident reports as required, conduct building safety walk-throughs, respond to guest service requests, and general guestroom and building repair.
Must have open timely communications with the Front Office and Engineering teams. Proper training will be provided to learn these responsibilities as well as becoming CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. This position reports to the Overnight Front Office Supervisor and Assistant Director of Engineering.
Shifts are 11pm-7:30am on a part time basis, Sunday and Monday nights. Starts at $19 per hour plus a $0.50 differential pay for working between the hours of 11pm-7am. Pay commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Verbal interactions with colleagues and hotel guests
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Must be able to work Sunday and Monday nights, including holidays
Proficient in basic computer skills
Previous security or engineering experience preferred
