We have an exciting opportunity for a Meeting & Events Sales Executive to join our Hyatt Sales Force – Mainz office.
Reporting directly to the Director of Global Sales, you will have defined goals for increasing total account revenue, as well as goals to support Global Directors of Sales.
You will be responsible for handling Group leads from accounts identified as key accounts with international production based in Central Europe for Hyatt Hotels worldwide in coordination with the Senior Sales Manager and Global Sales Director Meeting & Events. You will also besupporting Senior Sales Manager and Global Sales Director on their tasks when they are on travel.You will actively support divisional and worldwide priority hotels by compiling and implementing action plans within MICE segment as required and focus on new openings and projects to promote successfully into the MICE market. You are required to ensure an accurate and appropriate representation of Hyatt Hotels in all MICE segment related distribution channels and to ensure inclusion of Hyatt features in customer newsletters and magazines
The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree with some hotel experience. Experience with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word is essential, a knowledge of a hotel system such as Envision is desirable. You will be a pro-active, sales-oriented team player, with a self-motived work approach. Immaculate grooming, with clearly spoken and good business writing skills in German and English are crucial. Spanish language knowledge a plus. Ideally, you will have 2 years of convention or group sales experience.
