The Café, the main dining space of the hotel, is an interactive show-kitchen restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as delicious fare throughout the night. The bustling 315-seater eatery offers a range of seating options, from cozy circular booths to private and semi-private rooms to standalone tables in the heart of all the action.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. As Assistant Manager is responsible to manage the assigned VIP Service as a successful independent profit centre, in line with the outlet's operating concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the outlet. Understands the role Food and Beverage Service plays in creating the excellent Food and Beverage experience.

* University Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management specializing in Food and Beverage Management * Excellent Communication and Guest Relations Skills * Excellent Customer Service and Food and Beverage service skills * Good trainer, able to facilitate at all levels * Comprehensive knowledge of business needs, financial reporting and productivity requirements * Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Outlet Manager or 4 years Team Leader * Essential prerequisite is experience in the Hotel, Restaurant or Travel industry * Good knowledge on controlling beverage cost, shrinkages and maximizing revenue * Ability to propose ideas with special promotions to generate revenue
