2017 marks the opening of the first Grand Hyatt in the Philippines at the Bonifacio Global City that will bring to life a radical transformation and perspective on what entertaining and hospitality is all about. As we build a vibrant, passionate and fun-loving team, we are seeking a well-experienced Chef de Cuisine - International Restaurant who will oversee the day to day operations of the outlet kitchen.

Grand Hyatt Manila will feature 461 luxurious rooms and suites, a fitness centre and spa. F&B options include an all-day dining, international, and signature restaurants, lounge, entertainment complex, and state of the art event spaces that provide an abundance of culinary delights. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with guests and finds satisfaction in managing a kitchen that brings a rich and cultured experience. Your kitchen will showcase a menu using high quality produce, cooked to perfection and presented in a creative and contemporary way.

As a pre-opening team member, you will be involved in preparing the hotel for a successful opening. You will create the Departmental Operations Manual and establish the policies and procedures within your scope. You will be responsible for directing and administering outlet kitchen operations in fulfilling the Grand Hyatt promise of delivering moments of more. Specifically, you will ensure the smooth operation of the outlet kitchen and lead a team of inspired and well trained chefs.

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field. * Professional Experience in Hospitality: Progressive experience in Outlet Kitchen gained over the last 7 years in a high end specialty restaurant, 2 years of which would have been spent as a Chef de Cuisine. Well versed in the local area and able to relate to various cultures and groups. Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards essential. International culinary work experience is required for this local position. * Leadership Experience: Demonstrated skills in leading a diverse team with varying degrees of experience and talents Able to teach and inspire team members to be their best every day.
