Hyatt Front Office Manager in MAUI, Hawaii

The Front Office Manager is responsible for delivering a guest experience that creates customer satisfaction and improves acquisition, retention and loyalty. This position plans and develops guest focused programs, oversees the resolution of guest concerns; and facilitates the delivery of quality, clean, and safe facilities, amenities and services. This position works cohesively with property department heads/managers to identify and positively affect improvements and changes in processes and procedures; and will also interact in both one-on-one and group settings, leading teams and liaising with different levels of management on the regional and corporate level. The Front Office Manager is an integral member of the DRH management team, ensuring the highest levels of guest services through the application of all DRH standards, policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in travel industry management or 5 years of hotel/vacation rental experience with 2 years in supervisory/managerial capacity.

  • Previous Guest Relations Management or Front Office Management in a hotel or vacation rental condo environment required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

  • Previous experience with utilizing Springer Miller property management system (SMS) strongly preferred.

Working Environment/Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the colleague is regularly required to walk, stand, and sit. The colleague is occasionally required to climb and use balance. Additionally, the colleague will frequently be asked to use body, hands and arms to reach, carry, lift, push and pull a minimum of 40 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the colleague will experience temperature fluctuations, and moderate to high noise levels.
