The Human Resources Payroll Specialist is a key member of the Human Resources team who is responsible for all payroll processing including correct and timely input as well as weekly auditing. This colleague will also complete various other Human Resources related functions.
The Payroll Specialist will process manual checks and special transactions such as retroactive payments as needed and resolve any payroll discrepancies. In addition, this colleague will respond to wage/salary history requests for verifications of employment, TDI claims, unemployment claims, and workers compensation claims.
The Human Resources Payroll Specialist must address and act on payroll-related concerns with sensitivity and urgency.
A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two-year payroll processing experience is preferred. Knowledge of ADP Enterprise and/or Kronos is a plus. This position requires a person who is highly organized, efficient, and attentive to detail, with excellent follow-up skills, and who can work independently. Proven skill and experience using Microsoft Office Suite and using Excel to manage, organize, analyze, and calculate financial information and numbers is needed.
