Hyatt Handyperson - Engineering in MELBOURNE, Australia

Award-winning luxury hotel, Park Hyatt Melbourne seeks a customer focused and team oriented professional Handyperson to join the Engineering department on a full time basis.

With the support of the Manager – Engineering, you will be responsible for assisting the engineering department in ensuring the hotel is well maintained and guests’ needs are met in accordance with Hyatt International’s brand standards. Further duties include performing repairs to wall plaster and renderings, existing furniture, doors and door locks and assisting the Shift Engineers on projects as required.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will have: * Previous work experience in a hotel or similar fast-paced environment. * The necessary skills to be able to perform painting, basic carpentry, concreting, tiling and other general maintenance. * Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills. * Superior customer service skillsalong with the capability of working both autonomously and as part of a team. * The ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of five star grooming standards.
