About the Role

As an Income Audit Manager, you will be responsible for setting up Policies and procedures and other internal compliance requirement to ensure any potential risk is mitigated with effective controls. Also providing adequate support to Director of Finance to ensure smooth running of Finance Department.

Salary: $70,000-$75,000 Superannuation

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement and review policies and procedures to improve accuracy and timeliness of hotel transactions.

  • Examine and verify the financial data & evaluate the operational process and verify the financial and operational integrity.

  • Review and assess hotel’s operational risk and implementing control process to mitigate risk.

  • Audit of hotel’s various daily reports.

  • Undertaking random audit checks and test policies and processes.

  • Analyzing the potential for fraud or other investigations that may be required.

  • Conduct meetings and provide continued education and advice to different business units and teams regarding compliance and risk assessment.

  • Be familiar with all aspects of the accounting sub-departments (Receivable, Payable, Payroll, Cost Audit, General Cashier, SSC) and assist as required.

  • Ensure all General Ledger reconciliation’s are correct with supporting documentation as required and follow up all outstanding items.

  • Assist Director of Finance in review of monthly financial reports and submit to management for review.

  • Assist Finance team in End of month tasks.

  • Assist with cash flow management.

  • Manage and lead the accounting team successfully by developing them with support of Director of Finance.

  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Finance from time to time.



  • Qualification required is bachelors in business management/accounting

  • Previous work experience in a similar position for a minimum of 2 years.

  • Previous Hotel Pre-opening experience will be highly regarded

  • A strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills

  • The ability to work well under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Effective time management skills to achieve set deadlines

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential

  • A thorough understanding of the importance of 5-star grooming standards
