Description:

Specializing in traditional Chinese wok cooking, must have in-depth knowledge of traditional Chinese ingredients, cooking methods, techniques and customs. Wok Sous Chef will work directly under Chinese Chef de Cuisine, overseeing preparation and production of but not limited to traditional Chinese wok with strong experience in Chinese cuisine including all varieties of noodles and rice. 专门从事中餐炒锅烹饪 ,必须深入了解中餐传统食材、烹饪方法、技巧和习俗习惯。 炒锅副厨师长将直接在中餐厨师长指导下工作,监督菜肴的准备和制作过程,但不限于传统中餐炒锅,具有丰富的中餐烹饪的经验,包括各种面条和米饭的制作。

Responsibilities include:

  • Support senior leadership by developing and assuming basic management responsibilities
  • Assume the role of liaison between all departments within the culinary division and all other hotel departments
  • Supervise the preparation and cooking of various food items
  • Develop and implement creative menu items that adhere to Hyatt brand standards
  • Plan, coordinate & implement special events and holiday functions
  • Manage hourly kitchen employees through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluating and hiring
  • May manage other key culinary leadership rolls including supervisor and other less senior Sous Chefs
  • Lead and coach the team towards achieving exceptional guest service and employee satisfaction results
  • Monitor food production, ordering, cost, and quality and consistency on a daily basis
  • Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment

Qualifications:

Must have at least 10 years of professional training and experience or something equivalent. Other responsibilities may include menu planning, ordering and training other staff member. 必须具有至少 10 年的专业训练和经验或类似经历。 其他职责还包括菜单设计,订购和培训其他工作人员。
