The Assistant Operations Manager will provide support and oversight for the operational departments within the hotel. Areas of focus can include the front office, guest services, food and beverage outlets, and housekeeping. The Assistant Operations Manager would be responsible for guest satisfaction, colleague training & development, as well as scheduling. Other responsibilities can include payroll, and running of the shift in the department head’s absence.

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Minimum of one year previous hotel supervisory experience preferred
Previous experience with hotel management systems such as Opera, Micros, HotSOS, and Kronos
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
