Hyatt Pastry Cook 3 in SAN ANTONIO, Texas
This pastry position requires a full comprehension of baking and pastry arts with a culinary degree or restaurant / hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to perform basic bread baking, lamination and pastry decoration, creative plate presentation arts, recipe comprehension, chocolatier experience, and cake baking and decorating. Candidates should be prepared to work early morning shifts with varied schedule flexibility. Candidates will report to Chef de Cuisine, Banquet Chef and Executive Sous Chef and will be required to provide direction in the absence of leadership.
Requires good communication skills.
2 year Pastry Arts Degree preferred
Able to work flexible schedules with a priority on morning shifts
Must possess strong teamwork and work ethic
Ability to work with limited supervision
