Hyatt Room Attendant ($400 SIGNING BONUS!) in SAN DIEGO, California

The Room Attendant position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms assigned. This position is responsible for:
Changing all bed linens after guest departures.
Replacing all towels and bathroom linens.
Replacing all water glasses after guest departures.
Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming all floors.
Disinfecting surfaces including furniture, counters, mantles, windows, baseboards, HVACs, etc.
Disinfecting high-touch items including remote, telephone, light switches, door handles, ectc.
Cleaning and disinfecting showers, toilets, tubs, sinks, etc.
Arranging and replenishing bathroom amenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.
Arranging and inspecting stationary and collateral, etc. in the guest rooms before arrival.
Completing all assigned credits within schedule time.
Keeping linen and supply closets and carts organized- Maintaining work area and supplies neat, clean and organized including, carts, chemicals, caddy, and tools
Reporting any missing or damaged items to supervisor immediately.
Reporting any maintenance concerns in Hotsos. – Utilizing smart device to communicate completed assignments and report maintenance concerns through the use of Hotsos software
Removing all trash and empty bottles from guest rooms, common areas and office.
Using only approved cleaning supplies that are provided while following chemical guidelines and safety protocols
Following special care instructions for linens, hardwood floors, bathroom surfaces, etc.
Wearing proper uniform at all times in a neat and professional manner.
Wearing proper PPE as instructed by manager.
Attending monthly department meetings and training sessions as necessary.
Performing deep clean of guest rooms as assigned per the standard of the training.
Assisting as needed to clean front and back of house areas as assigned such as guest hallways, public restrooms, offices.
Adhereing to hotel/departmental cleanliness standards in correlation to AAA four diamond cleanliness standards
Following standard operating procedures for assigned tasks to ensure a safe work environment

*This position is eligible for a $400 Signing Bonus! You will receive $200 on your 60th day of employment, and the remaining $200 on your 90th day of employment.

All colleagues must adhere to our COVID-19 prevention plan, which includes, but is not limited to, wearing a mask, completing a temperature check upon arrival, maintaing social distancing, and cleaning/disinfecting areas outside department.
Previous cleaning experience is preferred
The ability to communicate with guests is preferred.
