We are looking for pastry cooks and bakers to join our dynamic Food & Beverage Team. We are looking for someone with excitement and dedication for serving our guests, our fellow team members and our community of local producers. Satisfying our guests depends on the united efforts of many, we are most effective when we work together cooperatively, respecting each other’s contribution and importance.

Pastry cooks and bakers are responsible for the pastry and bakery production for The Fleeting, Bar Julian, and our banquet and catering programs. Our program will be guided by Michelin-experienced baker Zach {last name}. You will have the exciting opportunity to work in a new, well-stocked kitchen with a pacojet, dough sheeter, plenty of measuring equipment and great local ingredients. As part of the Thompson Hotel, you may at times be offered hours at our other outlets in addition to your primary location. The hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year so we can be flexible with our scheduling, but expect our team members to be flexible in working mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as well.


  • One to two years’ experience working in kitchens preferred

  • One year experience working with pizza or other yeasted doughs preferred

  • Driven individual with high personal standards

  • Work authorization in the United States
