The Group Reservationist will manage group reservations and group rooms inventory as part of the convention services process, specifically: * Establish initial contact with customer at file turnover * Maintain relationship with customer, up to arrival, for all matters pertaining to guest room usage, including obtaining no-show and wash history, obtaining and managing changes to rooming lists, and tracking and managing the inventory for individual call-in groups. * Prepare and submit group room listings and pick up reports, including the tracking/posting of group comps. * Ability to facilitate and maintain a positive and productive work environment with other departments. /* */ /When applying for a position at Hyatt, you are pursuing an opportunity to join a culture built on caring and attentive associates who have a passion for providing efficient service and creating meaningful experiences. Qualifications:

· Candidate should be detailed orientated, organized and be able to handle a fast paced environment · Expert knowledge of Word, Excel Opera, Reserve and Passkey · Excellent multi-tasking and organizational skills · Excellent time-management skills · Excellent customer service, problem solving and interface skills · Understanding of rooms merchandising and yield management processes · Previous Hospitality experience preferred · Reservations duties and responsibilities may be assigned outside Group market
