Hyatt Assistant Executive Housekeeper in SYDNEY, Australia
Description:
The Role
You will join and lead an energetic and passionate team of Housekeepers at the Hyatt Regency Sydney. Due to growth, this role has been created to support the team operationally in maintaining high standards of hotel cleanliness (in both Rooms and Public Areas). It will be critical that you have a strong focus on supporting a team to create a positive and productive work environment. The ability to build, motivate and upskill a team is critical for success in this position.
Responsibilities Include:
• Supporting the Executive Housekeeper to manage the day to day Housekeeping operations of the hotel
• Working as a business partner with outsourced labour companies to ensure high standard of work
• Monitor guest feedback to identify training needs and drive guest satisfaction
• Taking ownership of VIP, regular and complaint guests from a Housekeeping perspective
To be successful, you must have:
• Previous Housekeeping management experience in a five star environment
• Strong problem solving skills
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proven ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure
• Availability to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• Strong eye for detail and the ability to set the standards for cleanliness
• Full Australian work rights are essential
