TheMaterial Managerwill be required to coordinate the purchasing requirements of the Hotel and ensure all are met in a timely, cost effective manner.

About the role * TheMaterial Manageris responsible for the purchasing of all goods & services * Liaising with all Department Heads regarding exact specification of goods * Produce the most qualitative samples at the minimal price * Build ethical relationships with suppliers of the same values, to support the success of the Hotel operation. Responsibilities include * Management of the "Birchstreet" inventory system * Maintaining quality standards when negotiating contracts with suppliers * Ensuring quick turnover of inventory. Qualifications:
Our Expectations * Full timecommitment of38 hours per week * Good communication, analytical & numerical skills * Experience in stock taking procedures * Competent with HACCP procedures * Similar experience in a 4/5 star hotel/environment
