Hyatt Sales Manager in SYDNEY, Australia

As the Sales Manager, you will maximise total revenue potential for Hyatt Regency Sydney across the corporate meetings, incentives, and MICE events market segments with a focus on both retention and acquisition. You will be selling Australia’s leading corporate and events hotel, delivering the most prestigious events and largest room blocks.
We are looking for a sales professional who possesses or is willing to develop acquisition skills, research, finding new opportunities and someone who wants to learn.
Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach to sales and be a dynamic sales professional who will positively impact our business and clearly define the Hyatt Regency brand.
Retention and management of existing business
New business research, solicitation, prospecting, and acquisition will be a large part of this role
Building and maintaining strong relationships across internal and external clients, and other market and industry sources
Maximising yield potential of business for the hotel
Working closely with the Director of Sales, Director of Sales MICE to develop and implement strategies to maximise business
Plan, organise and host familiarisation, client events, team roadshows, and entertainment
Find new markets for the hotel
To be Successful
Minimum 2 years' experience within a 4 - 5 star environment
Relevant education in Business, Hospitality or Sales & Marketing
A proven track record in achieving targets and yield management
Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and relationship management
Highly motivated, solutions-oriented self-starter with adaptable teamwork style
