We are looking for Chef de Cuisine of our signature restaurant “The Tavern - Grill & Lounge”.

Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills Andaz, meaning “PERSONAL STYLE” in Hindi, delivers an innovative hospitality experience and attentive, uncomplicated service designed to accommodate guests’ personal preferences.

Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills, with its debut in 2014, is the first Andaz hotel in Japan and one of the seventeenth of its kind globally.

The hotel is located in the 52-story Toranomon Hills tower from floors 47-52 and offers easy access to key locations, including the Ginza shopping district, Tokyo Station and various cultural attractions.

We, as a pioneer of a lifestyle luxury brand in Japan, are committed to providing an unscripted, Japanese-inspired experience that will help our guests feel truly connected to the heart and soul of Tokyo.

The Tavern -Grill & Lounge Specializing in grilled dishes, ‘The Tavern - Grill & Lounge’ opened on April 16 in 2018 with its renewed concept. This main dining outlet offers an exciting lineup of modern inspired dishes including quality aged meats seared to perfection in our new lava stone broiler grill. Focusing on local ingredients and domestic meats, The Tavern - Grill & Lounge brings new dimensions in flavor and presentation to our signature restaurant.

As a Chef de Cuisine of this signature outlet, you will be expected to oversee all areas of the kitchen operations in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting associate, guest and owner expectations.

You will also be responsible to manage the assigned kitchen as an independent profit center, in line with the Tavern’s operating concept, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within the allocated budget to achieve financial success of the outlet.


・グリルスタイルのレストラン、または類似するオールデイダイニングのレストラン調理経験必須 Must have experiences at grill-style restaurants or similar all-day dining outlets.

・食品衛生管理者の資格保持者優遇。キッチンにおける衛生規範や労働衛生と労働安全基準 に対する豊富な知識を有すること。 Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage. Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.

・固定観念にとらわれず、常に新しいアイディアを求め、また受容できる方 Adapt and always seek new ideas without being fixed on the idea

・自発的で責任感があり、プレッシャーの元で業務をこなす能力がある方 Responsible self-starter, capable of handling multi-faceted projects and of working under pressure.

・現在日本国内に在住の方 Applicants should currently reside in Japan (hired on a local package).

・ビジネスレベルの日本語力 Japanese: Fluent

・日常会話程度の英語力 English: Coversational - written and spoken

・基本的なPCスキル(Word, Excel) Basic PC skills - Word & Excel
