Description:

This is a moderately skilled position with a minimum of 2 years experience in which a culinary degree or related hotel experience are preferred. Candidate should have a moderate culinary knowledge and be able to work most stations with basic training and moderate supervision. Candidate should work as support in the department and be able to resolve limited issues. This position requires good communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Refined verbal communication skills.

  • 2 years of previous line experience preferred.

  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

  • Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills.

  • Able to work single station in the kitchen.

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

This candidate should be qualified to work on the pantry and grill stations. Have experience in the preparation and production of basic soups and sauces. Candidate may have a basic knowledge of butchering and portioning meat and seafood. Some level of training on sanitation and food safety preferred.
