Hyatt Business Analyst EAME/SWA in ZURICH, Switzerland

The Business Analyst will apply revenue management and performance metrics knowledge to design, and prepare reporting capabilities for the region, and further manage the distribution of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting. It will also assist Revenue Management function in analyzing data and managing data for various reporting capabilities between internal and external resources, and assist in identifying opportunities to improve revenue streams. The position will also develop standard reporting templates, and manage data analysis of all revenue streams.

Main Responsibilities: Develop system expertise to support and mine data from enterprise systems Work with Visual Basic Advantage and Microsoft excel in developing automated reporting templates Support corporate users with data analysis and reporting needs Support hotels with best practices, analytical templates and business process standards Analyse hotel performances and identify relevant opportunities on a periodic basis Develop new performance metrics and standardise existing metrics for all users Develop trend reporting and analysis of forecast accuracies Develop dash-boarding reporting for key internal executives and produce scheduled and ad-hoc reports To liaise with different functions and produce comprehensive reporting that can be used to run marketing campaigns, and understand overall revenues of different regions Be conversant with business intelligence tools and use them extensively for analytical purposes


3 years plus of work experience in analytical or technical position

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, operations research,

finance, statistics or computer science

Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, VBA

Preferred experience in revenue management
