Hyatt Purchasing/Storeroom Attendant in ARLINGTON, Virginia

Description:

The storeroom attendant is responsible for logging, releasing and inventorying items in the storeroom area as well as delivering items to areas in the hotel. This person must be able to lift a moderate to heavy weight and have basic communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Unload and distribute all receivables and goods from the loading dock into the storeroom

  • Distribute receivable and goods from the storeroom to various hotel departments

  • Manage inventories according to established standards

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including following all safety rules and regulations

  • Assist receiving clerk with incoming guest and in-house packages

  • Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, colleagues, and vendors

  • Candidates should be detail oriented and organized

  • Candidates must be able to lift a moderate amount of weight consistently throughout shift

  • Candidate should have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record

  • Candidate should have working knowledge of Excel and Outlook

  • Candidate should have the ability to worksomeweekendsand holidays
