The Driskill is centrally located on Austin’s historic 6th Street, the heart of the entertainment district and is only a short walk to the Texas State Capital Building, great shopping, hiking and bike trails.

The Associate Director of Sales is an experienced senior level hotel sales role that reports directly to the Director of Sales and Events. Sales responsibilities include managing a key sales market through active retention, prospecting and networking, as well as site visits, tradeshows and sales calls.

ADOS responsibilities include, but are not limited to coaching, training, recruitment and hiring of sales team. This position is typically an 18 - 24 month commitment with a clear goal to experience the training and development necessary to become a future Director of Sales for Hyatt, including development opportunities in budgeting and business plan development, forecasting, owner’s meetings and relations, and P&L management.

Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3-5 years previous sales experience * Proficient in general computer knowledge, supervisory experience, and able to train and monitor the process of sending referrals, setting traces and profiling accounts. * Excellent customer relations, communication, presentation and organization skills of utmost importance. * Refined written and verbal communication skills.
