Hyatt Chief Engineer in AUSTIN, Texas
During our time of growth and expansion, Miraval Austin is seeking a Chief Engineer to join our growing team and help us get ready for our re-opening at the end of 2018. The Chief Engineer reports to the Engineering Director and is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of resort equipment, tools and facilities. In addition, they will –
- Manages the maintenance staff and ensures that facilities and systems operate properly.
- Maintain the operation of the entire resort facility including the physical building structures, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure the upkeep of guest areas to maintain an attractive property.

* Five to seven years in a major resort, hospital, or building, including at least four years in a supervisory capacity. * Ability to obtain and/or maintain any government required licenses, certificates or permits. * Must be self-motivated and a problem solver. * Requires analyzing activities and/or information involving some original data manipulation or interpretation to arrive at logical conclusions. * Requires advanced knowledge of building management/engineering * Exceptional time management, detail and organizational skills. * Professional demeanor with exceptional verbal, written and electronic communication skills.
