Hyatt Spa Assistant Director in AUSTIN, Texas

Description:
Miraval Austin is currently seeking aSpa Assistant Director to help oversee the day to day operation of our recently renovated, 30 treatment room Spa. Primary responsibility is to assist the Director in setting the leadership standard by providing direction and supervision to the spa staff in the Spa's daily operations. This position will also oversee the coordination of all guest needs, oversee the process of staff scheduling to accommodate guest need, and provide the attention to details in the Spa Standards.

Miraval Austin sits nestled in 210 acres of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve overlooking beautiful Lake Travis and just 30 minutes north of downtown Austin. Our property includes 117 guest rooms, conference facilities, a beautifully-appointed restaurant with an exhibition kitchen and outdoor patio, full-service spa with infinity edge pool, fitness center, horse stables and covered arena, farm, a challenge course, and many other facilities and amenities available to our guests at this all-inclusive resort.

Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years of previous Spa Management experience. Preferably within a large volume, resort style setting. * Experience in managing people with compassion, patience and maturity. * Capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally. * Solutions oriented approach to problem solving. * Maintain a positive attitude and focus on guest satisfaction in a luxury spa environment. * Comfortable in engaging guests and manage customer service recovery. * Effective time management, problem solving and communication skills are essential. * Open availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
