Hyatt Sr. Sales Manager-Group in AUSTIN, Texas
Miraval Austin is seeking a Sr. Sales Manager to helpmaximize Property revenue through Group sales of overnight room packages and its inclusions. This position acts in a leadership and mentoring role for other team members, including taking responsibility and authority when Director of Sales is out.
Miraval Austin sits nestled in 210 acres of the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve overlooking beautiful Lake Travis and just 30 minutes from downtown Austin. Our property has recently undergone extensive renovations, and includes 117 guest rooms, conference facilities, a beautifully-appointed restaurant with an exhibition kitchen and outdoor patio, full-service spa with infinity edge pool, fitness center, horse stables and covered arena, farm, a challenge course, and many other facilities and amenities available to our guests at this all-inclusive resort. Essential Functions include: * Executes the group sales process beginning with identifying prospects and qualifying leads, resulting in closed sales with well executed contract. * Consistently prospects for new business. * Regularly makes outside sales calls and entertains clients both on and off property. * Participates in community activities and networking opportunities. * Schedules and attends Trade Shows as assigned: Generates leads, builds relationships and performs follow through to facilitate maximum ROI * Develops sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed established revenue and room night goals. * Conducts property tours. * Prepares proposals, estimates and contracts for precise communication and ease of team follow through, so that guest experiences are consistent with what has been represented to our guests and will meet with client satisfaction.

* A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment. * Refined verbal and written communication skills. * Four year college degree in sales, tourism, business or equivalent experience that demonstrates required knowledge is preferred. * Minimum three years’ experience in hospitality sales preferred; destination wellness resort or independent boutique resort experience strongly preferred.
