Hyatt Director of Events in BANGKOK, Thailand

Description:

The Director of Events is responsible for the efficient running of the Events department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

The Director of Events is required to provide and exhibit leadership in all Event sales activities within the hotel, working closely with Sales, Rooms, Food and Beverage, Spa and other departments to maximize Event sales.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant Sales and Event Services experience

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead teams

  • Professional presentation skills

  • Must be a caring leader that builds trust and engagement by cultivating genuine relationships

  • Innovative thinker that will challenge business processes and concepts in order to drive results

  • Must be creative and strategic in developing sales and marketing concepts

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills

  • Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy

  • Comfortable with sales and revenue systems and programs

  • Passion and understanding for creating a positive impact, serving others, and living Hyatt's core values
