The Sales & Events Coordinator will provide administrative support to all departments within the Sales & Marketing Division including Sales, Marketing, Events and Revenue Management. The Sales & Event Coordinator will demonstrate exemplary attention to detail and a sound knowledge of both office and Hyatt systems. This role involves a great amount of multi-tasking and time management. This position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting sales managers with administrative dutiesincluding Word processing, account management, presentation preparation andcustomer follow up.

  • This position will coordinate account client needs andclient events.

  • Ensures that an efficient and accurate filing system is inplace for all departmental records, both manually as well aselectronically.

  • Produces and distributes monthly reports to the GeneralManager and Director of Sales and Marketing

  • Establishes and maintains strong relationship with theestablished clientele and other operational departments

  • Follows up sales leads whenever required or assigned by theAssociate Director of Sales.

  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and problemsolving skills on assignments.


  • 1-2 years of administrative, sales, and/or events experience

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast pacedenvironment

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient knowledge of computer applications

  • Strong analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
