Working within our Sales team you will assistin the selling and development of business within Hyatt Regency Birmingham for all groups and events business. The role involves both service existing accounts and demonstrating initiative to solicit new accounts. As well as working as part of the Sales team within Hyatt Regency Birmingham it is expected that the role networks with Hyatt colleagues around the world namely within the Global Sales Offices. This is a busy and exciting department, where no 2 days are the same, you will be integrated into the hotel at large and will be encouraged to develop as an individual as well as achieving targets.

Working 37.5 hours per week, reasonable overtime may be required.

Qualifications:
With excellent interpersonal skills, both verbally and written, you will ideally have previous experience in a Hotel/Conference Venue within a sales role.

Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point for presentations is essential, and knowledge of a hotel system such as Envision is requried.

We are looking for an ambassador for our hotel. A confident individual, who can easily integrate into an established team and ‘hit the ground running’ would be advantageous.

The position of Sales Coordinator or Executive will vary depending on experience.
