Hyatt Purchasing Director in BURLINGAME, California

The Director of Purchasing will oversee the Purchasing Department, the Food and Beverage Storeroom, and purchasing function for the hotel. Responsibilities include the following:
* Managing material flow to insure inventory is maintained to the optimum level to support on time deliveries while keeping inventory holdings at the appropriate levels. * Managing receiving clerk duties day to day * Oversee Purchasing Staff * Implementation and enforcement of requisition procedures * Maintaining and ordering appropriate par stock for Food and Beverage storerooms * Working with electronic ordering/receiving systems * Work close with the Chef and plan for major banquet event needs * Facilitate a smooth running loading dock operation in support of hotel operations * Ensure that the quality of products meet hotel and Hyatt standards
