The right individual will be counted on to aggressively prospect for new business, personally engage with clients on a daily basis, cooperatively communicate with hotel team members, and plan and execute top dollar sales functions.

The Sales Executive is a competent individual who has 1-2 year experience in the sales process and function of a hotel. Responsibilities include selling guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conducting site inspections, solicits and generates business.

Duties also include preparing and presenting effective proposals, maintaining well organized documentation and reports, utilizes Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate. The Sales Executive will also participate in sales & events meetings and other staff meetings. The Sales Executive also works as a team member with the sales and events service staff.

Qualifications:

  • Preferably a Degree/Diploma in Hotel/Tourism Management or equivalent,

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a hotel sales role or as a sales assistant within the hospitality industry,

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, administrative skills, and interpersonal skills

  • Positive and professional attitude,

  • Solid Knowledge of English is mandatory.
