Hyatt Food and Beverage Manager - BIG Bar in CHICAGO, Illinois

We are searching for a committed, proactive Bar Manager who enjoys work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The BIG Bar Manager promotes and grows the business and ensures that patrons are receiving excellent drinks, food, and service. Other duties include managing inventory and resources, planning and executing promotional and private events, ensuring quality and safety controls are followed, maintaining and upholding company and industry standards, as well as creating schedules and setting business objectives to increase profits and maximize customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be able to work with diverse personalities, diffuse tense situations, as well as think critically and efficiently. Excellent communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills, in addition to great attention to detail is required. Other responsibilities include overseeing other functions of the food and beverage department including banquets, room service, and restaurants.

We are searching for a committed, proactive Bar Manager who enjoys work in an exciting, fast-paced environment.This person will oversee the different functions of the food and beverage areas including all restaurant, room service and bars at different times within the hotel. Responsibilities will include scheduling and training of staff.
