Hyatt Manager, Digital Performance Media in CHICAGO, Illinois
The Manager, Digital performance media will play a key role in developing and implementing display and social advertising strategies across all of Hyatt’s brands. The role will be a core member of the America’s digital marketing organization and will work cross functionally with various brand teams to meet or exceed key performance indicators. The role will report to the Senior Manager, Digital media and will work closely with brand marketing, field marketing, marketing analytics, and digital agencies.
In this role, the Manager will support the strategic development, execution and optimization of various digital media campaigns, working with internal teams to drive direct revenue for Hyatt. The Digital Media Manager will own various levels of digital agency and vendor relationships. Success in this position requires strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Develop strategy, goals, and oversee agency execution of paid social and display advertising marketing plans across Hyatt brand & partnership campaigns. Accountability for managing multiple budgets simultaneously * Responsible for evaluating digital channel ROI and working with agencies and internal stakeholders to allocate budget for optimal marketing mix * Assess, test, and manage new digital marketing opportunities in conjunction with internal stakeholders and external agencies * Be the single point of contact for all brand marketing communication across various stakeholders * Drive learning agendas and test plans across paid social and display. Collaborate with agencies and international teams for implementation * Communicate and present with internal stakeholders on all fundamentals of online campaign performance, including reporting, status and goals * Serve as an internal expert in the areas of paid social and display advertising, such as but not limited to emerging trends, evolution and innovation in these fields. Play a consultative role as necessary for general online advertising best practices * Identify opportunities and lead implementation of initiatives that will increase direct sales to hyatt.com * Analyze data & create monthly business reports for brand campaigns to empower stakeholders with valuable information to make decisions * Participates as a member of a team to move toward the completion of common goals while fostering cohesion and collaboration among team members * Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Experience * 6 years digital marketing experience with a proven track record in driving revenue growth * Previous experience working for or with an agency highly preferred * Experience in an omni-channel environment, including program/campaign development and management, optimization and analysis, bid management tools and client/stakeholder engagement * Proven skills in program management and leading complex, cross-functional initiatives. * Experience in display advertising, especially working with trading desks/ad exchanges, DMP and DSP preferred * Strong understanding of digital marketing analytics and metrics, i.e. CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL, CPA, ROAS, etc. * Strong experience working with web analytics/marketing tech tools, such as Omniture, Google campaign manager, Facebook, etc. * Experience managing and developing learning agendas, measurement plans, structured tests (A/B testing), optimization strategy, and performance evaluation * Proactive problem solver with a “can do” attitude Education * Bachelor’s degree with marketing, finance, computer information systems, or business management related major preferred *Computer Skills Needed to Perform this * * JobExcel, Powerpoint
