Hyatt Manager, Email Marketing in CHICAGO, Illinois
The Manager of Email Marketing is responsible for leading Email Marketing strategy and execution for our Hyatt hotels on a global basis. The Email Marketing Manager must be comfortable presenting to executive leaders, developing a small team, and digging into analytics and campaign performance. The person in this role will work with the VP, Digital Marketing to develop and socialize email marketing strategies/plans, design new campaigns, and implement programs. The manager works with and needs to align with key stakeholders in content management, analytics, brand, loyalty, and creative teams.
- Hyatt’s Global Email Strategy (marketing and transactional programs)
- Leading email content creation, development, segmentation, implementation, coordination, deployment and analysis. Includes test plan development and execution.
- Calendar development and management
- Vendor management
- Attracting and developing staff

Experience * 5-7 years of experience in email marketing supporting transactional websites (Hospitality or travel industry preferred) * Past experiencing supporting multi-lingual / global email programs, guest loyalty program support would be a plus * Extensive understanding of website operations business systems (sales and reservation process) * Experienced in web analytics (Omniture) and managing email campaigns to achieve targeted KPIs. * Advanced knowledge of principles and best practices of email marketing. * Persuasive communication and analytical skills to effectively explain and demonstrate E-Commerce marketing effectiveness. * Experience with mobile email development and campaigns * Strategic and analytical approach to solving problems and making decisions while also recognizing the importance of brand standards and ensuring brand standard compliance across all email streams * Strong analytical skills and email segmentation experience. * Strong track record of delivering results in a global environment. * Ability and willingness to operate in a fast-paced professional environment * High degree of energy and enthusiasm * Possesses a can-do positive attitude, out-going, pro-active, team-oriented attitude, and customer-service orientation * Experience in the hospitality/hotel industry a plus * Working with IBM WCA (Transact and Marketing Ops) for ESP
Education * Bachelor’s Degree in E-Commerce, Marketing, or related field
Computer Skills * Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook * Email oriented HTML is plus
