Hyatt Senior Manager, Digital Marketing in CHICAGO, Illinois

The Senior Manager Digital Marketing Cluster Program is responsible for developing the strategy and managing the day-to-day program. The scope of this role includes supporting the hotels opting into the Digital Marketing Cluster Program management services. Outcomes include increasing hotel revenues, guest acquisition, and ensuring the hotels are maximizing return on digital advertising spend. This position will directly manage six Digital Marketing Managers (DMMs) and will have a potential to manage more resources and shape the program as it grows. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strategic point of view and vision as well as an ability to: 1) quickly learn how to work in a complex organization to get things done, 2) unite key stakeholders behind a shared vision, and 3) execute flawlessly by appropriately managing projects and delegating where possible/needed. Develop the strategy for the Digital Marketing Cluster program and manage the program on a day-to-day basis including managing six Digital Marketing Managers (DMMs). Digital Marketing Managers develop, implement and organize online marketing campaigns to acquire new customers, increase hotel revenues and market share Oversee the development of digital marketing plans for the hotels by the Digital Marketing Managers. Collaborate with DMMs to build strategies that drive growth all digital channels Recognize and recommend new business opportunities and partnerships based on industry and technology trends, competitive research and customer demand to ensure competitive advantage and innovation in the online market * Develop best practices and creates SOPs. Oversee implementation of appropriate changes in the field with the Digital Marketing Managers * Leverage analytics tools to interpret and report on site performance data and usability to improve conversion rates and maximize ROI of marketing programs * Work with Digital Marketing, Merchandising and Content teams to ensure that the program is helping the internal teams support the field and that our digital content and design support the holistic marketing and media strategy at the brand and property level * Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure mutually beneficial financial and service terms * Maintain and develop key relationships across internal teams to continue to drive synergies between the Digital Marketing Cluster program and the corporate teams * Provide training and coaching to DMMs to drive professional development that is aligned with team member and company goals * Build relationships with hotel leadership and ownership teams to be able to effectively support the DMMs and be a point of escalation, where needed. This includes leading key ownership and strategic hotel meetings for the clusters, as needed * Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Experience * Hospitality or hospitality-related digital marketing experience required * Minimum of 7 years related experience * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership role is preferred * Experience coordinating multi-state locations * Hospitality experience in revenue management and/or distribution is preferred * Proven ability to impact and work with all levels of the organization * Excellent prioritization, time management and organizational skills * Exceptional writing/editing skills and strong verbal skills * Goal-oriented, self-starter, creative, flexible and adaptable to new situations * Must be able to function at a fast pace in a service-level environment * Experienced with spreadsheet, analytics and presentation applications. Possessing the aptitude and desire to learn new technologies * Experience marketing high-end, high-design and luxury brands a plus * Experience with and deep understanding of online analytic tools, with expertise in how to develop a comprehensive metrics program. Strong analytic mindset that is always thirsty for data * Thorough knowledge of SEO, SEM strategies and tactics including measuring effectiveness * Strong experience creating and implementing innovative marketing programs including developing a variety of digital tactics * Must possess an entrepreneurial spirit to deliver an industry-leading cluster program * Excellent project management skills to effectively prioritize and execute tasks * Needs to have a roll-up-your-sleeves, process-oriented individual with flawless execution skills

Education * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality or a related field required * Master’s degree a plus

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations. * Preferred certificates, license or registrations include: Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Certified Hospitality Digital Marketer Certification (CHDM), Certified Revenue Management Certification (CRME), Google Ads certification, Double-Click certification
