The Cook 2-Restaurant Line Cook is a culinary position that requires basic culinary skills or related cooking experience and good communication skills. Basic understanding and previous understanding of restaurant operations within the hotel is preferred but not required. This is a production position that requires total supervision and hands on training. The Cook 2-Restaurant Line Cook practices the importance of producing a consistent, quality product that meets and exceeds the guests' expectation in a timely manner. This position is faced pace and requires the ability to multi-task and work in a team-oriented environment. This position requires strong customer service skills. Located near the trendy Short North Arts and Arena District, our downtown Columbus Hotel is the ideal home base for travelers from all over the world to connect. Qualifications:
* o Good communication and teamwork skills

o 2 years of previous line experience preferred o Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred o Candidate should be able to perform all basic cooking skills o Able to work single station in the kitchen o A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment o Ability to stand for long periods of time
