The Event Service Manager handles both catering and group sales bookings with and without sleeping rooms.

The Event Service Manager is responsible for detailing, servicing, and ensuring guest satisfaction for hotel events. This position works closely with Hotel Event Managers and Administrative Assistants as it relates to catering and convention services.

Primary efforts are menu planning, agenda setting, BEO, resume, and diagram creation, department representation during events, and special VIP requests. Duties also include facilitating communication before, during and post event with clients

and pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service. Event Service Managers also host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate in event meetings and other staff meetings, and work on projects as requested by the sales and catering staff.
