Hyatt General Maintenance Mid-Level Engineer- Swing Shifts in DENVER, Colorado

A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer may also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas, as well as good communication skills.

A minimum of one-year of consistent, large-scale building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred. Good customer service skills and communication skills are also required.

Open availability for all shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays is required. The typical schedule for this position could be 5, 8.5 hour shifts that consist of two overnight shifts (11PM-7:30AM) and three day shifts (either 7AM-3:30PM or 3PM-11:30PM) OR 2 overnight and 2 day 10 hr shifts pending candidates preference. The schedule is subject to change depending on business needs. This position involves a considerable amount of walking and standing; and the ability to lift, push and carry a moderate amount of weight is required.
